I remember making this when I was a kid, but thanks to i heart nap time and their fabulous instructions, I decided to give it a try again.
All you need are two sticks of butter, one cup of brown sugar and a tube of crackers.
Take a jelly roll pan, line it with foil and spray the foil with nonstick cooking spray.
Arrange the crackers on the pan.
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees. On the stove top, bring the butter and brown sugar to a boil. After the butter has melted, let it boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
When the 3 minutes are up, pour the syrup over the crackers and spread with a knife or wooden spoon. If it’s not exactly even, don’t worry, it’ll spread out in the oven.
Bake for 8 minutes. Don’t over bake! When done, take the foil out of the pan. Let the toffee cool, then break off in pieces.
I wasn’t able to wait until it was completely cool because it smelled phenomenal! Quick and tasty!
